HISTORY OF COMPANY

Founded company in 1991.

Moved company in February, 1997, from Morton, IL, to a newly constructed 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Goodfield, IL.

Expanded company in December, 1999, to a 15,000 sq. ft. facility able to do its own fabrication of large assemblies.

 

PRODUCT INNOVATIONS

Invented the “Backhoe Crane” that attaches to rubber-tired backhoes and allows roof trusses to be lifted 3 stories.

Developed the “Extendavator”, an attachment that gives the machine an extra 4-35 feet of reach without the need of an extra counterweight.

Developed the “Ride Control” on wheel loaders which reduces the fore and aft pitching motion during higher speed travel.

Developed the “Extendable Paw”, an attachment that increases reach on both full-size and mini excavators.

Designed and built the world’s largest amphibious log forwarder.

Designed and built the first purpose-built underground scaler on a CAT 318 platform.

Designed and built 12 Long Reach Sticks on JD230 Excavators for the military engineers.

Developed and built the PWCE “Construction Carry All”, a multi-functional device that can handle many attachments and can be attached to most vehicles, including pickup trucks, tractors, and skid steers. 

 

AWARDS RECEIVED 

Construction Equipment’s Top 100 Innovative Products Award in 1990 for the development of the Backhoe Crane. 

Featured speaker for the September, 1997 meeting of the Central Illinois Section of the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). 

Business Achievement Award for 1998-1999 presented by the Economic Development Council for the Peoria Area. 

Construction Equipment’s Top 100 Innovative Products Award in 2003 for the development of the Construction Carry All.
